Platform Capabilities
The shift, in twelve capabilities.
Most ESG platforms produce reports. EcoVeraZ produces evidence. The difference is what survives a board audit, a regulator probe, or an investor due-diligence cycle. Twelve capabilities, each paired with the boundary line that keeps the platform's claims honest.
The status quo, named
Today most enterprises produce ESG reports by manually cobbling together spreadsheets, consultant interpretations, and unverified data. The result is months stale and expensive to defend. Below is what changes when the platform replaces the cobbling.
Evidence integrity
01 / 12Tamper-proof immutable evidence chain
Every rendered report's machine-readable payload and methodology pack are SHA-256 hashed at issuance. Two renders against the same dataset produce bit-identical fingerprints across environments. Tampering is detected within seconds. The audit committee can confirm the report has not been silently altered.
Trusted timestamping
02 / 12Independently auditor-verifiable
Every report carries a third-party-issued RFC 3161 serial. The customer's audit committee runs openssl ts -verify in under sixty seconds and confirms the report existed in its current form on the issuance date — without trusting EcoVeraZ at all. FreeTSA in development environments; commercial TSA in production.
Audit trail
03 / 12Full audit trail without an audit project
Every render emits a six-sidecar artifact set: methodology pack (JSON and YAML), machine-readable report payload, proof anchor with TSA serial and content hash, evidence manifest with per-record provenance, artifact manifest with full package inventory, and composition decisions explaining why each section was included or excluded. The audit trail comes for free; no separate audit project required.
Composition engine
04 / 12The right report, by sector, automatically
The platform selects which intelligence modules render based on the customer's declared sector, framework filter, portfolio context, and rendering mode. Composition decisions are exposed as a sidecar artifact so auditors see exactly which modules were filtered in or out and why. No more one-size-fits-all ESG templates.
Framework alignment
05 / 12Compliance posture without the compliance project
Disclosures map across CSRD ESRS, ISSB S2, GRI, BRSR, TCFD, PCAF, GRESB, SBTi, and AASHE STARS. Framework updates become YAML edits at our end — not product rewrites at yours, not consulting fees at your CFO's. Each framework's coverage matrix and disclosure status renders in the report.
SBTi readiness
06 / 12SBTi submission preparation, board-ready
Scope 1, 2, and 3 coverage analysis. Indicative annual reduction requirement vs current trajectory. Readiness band scoring with named drivers and explicit evidence gaps. Designed to prepare a customer for SBTi target submission — board-ready posture before the formal engagement begins.
Guardrail: EcoVeraZ does not validate SBTi targets. Formal third-party validation by SBTi or an equivalent body remains a separate engagement.
Carbon Credit Readiness
07 / 12Carbon credit eligibility, before you commit
Activity classification, baseline data assessment, monitoring data quality, eligibility screen across additionality, quantification, permanence, leakage, and double-counting risk, plus SDG co-benefit mapping. Aligned to common standard-body criteria so customers know whether a project is worth registering before the registration cost lands.
Guardrail: EcoVeraZ does not issue or certify carbon credits. Project registration and credit issuance remain with the relevant standard body (Gold Standard, Verra VCS, ACR, or equivalent).
Auditor preparation
08 / 12Audit committee briefing in minutes
The Auditor / CFO Q&A Appendix anticipates the seven questions an external auditor or CFO is most likely to ask first when reviewing the report — chain of custody, content fingerprint verifiability, assurance status, framework mapping, materiality basis, forward-looking statement handling, evidence gap closure — with answers grounded in the actual evidence chain. Audit committee posture established in minutes, not weeks.
Sector intelligence
09 / 12Sector vocabulary, not a generic ESG template
Healthcare flagship in production with eight modules covering anesthetic gas posture, IAQ-clinical cross-signal observations, medical gas inventory, hazardous waste, patient safety, pharma supply chain, health equity, and clinical research integrity. Tier 1 sector packs for Data Centers, Petrochemicals, Manufacturing, Commercial Buildings, Commercial Real Estate, Utilities, Pharma, and Food & Beverage. Tier 2 coverage on demand. Each sector reads in its own vocabulary, mapped to its own materiality.
Guardrail: Clinical correlations in healthcare modules are bound to the evidence chain. EcoVeraZ does not assert clinical causation from environmental data.
Multi-site portfolio
10 / 12Portfolio rollup, board-ready in one pass
Portfolio reports concurrently aggregate readings across all sites, render a per-site comparison table, and produce a single board-distributable PDF. Each site retains its own dataset_id and provenance trace inside the rolled-up report. The CSO presents one document; the audit committee can drill to any site.
Protocol breadth
11 / 12Connect what you already have
BACnet, Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT, HTTP webhooks, CSV / XLSX manual upload — all converge on a canonical packet shape and pass through the same evidence chain. New protocols added to the unified adapter without changes to downstream layers. LoRaWAN scaffolded; remote-sensing layer (satellite, drone, weather, GIS) on the published roadmap. No spreadsheet fleet, no rip-and-replace.
Strict-readiness discipline
12 / 12Language your audit committee can stand behind
The platform never claims SBTi certified, Net Zero validated, carbon credits issued, regulatory compliance determined, clinical causation established, or assurance opined. Where formal third-party determination is required, the report explicitly says so. This discipline is enforced in the rendered output, on the marketing surface, and in customer-facing sales conversations. Most ESG platforms soften their language to close deals; the first regulator pushback collapses both the platform's credibility and the customer's disclosure.
Guardrail: EcoVeraZ provides readiness intelligence and evidence traceability. Formal certification, assurance, or validation remains with authorized third parties.
The boundary promise
Capabilities that do not overclaim.
EcoVeraZ provides readiness intelligence and evidence traceability. Formal certification, assurance, or validation remains with authorized third parties. The platform's capability set is designed to make those engagements close faster, not to replace them.
